The service
BFarah gives your celebration a private album: guests scan a QR code, type their name and upload photos and videos; you choose who sees what, moderate, and download the originals. The service is provided by BFarah [operator name: to be completed].
Your account
- You sign in with a link sent to your email. Anyone with access to that mailbox can act as you, so keep it safe.
- You may add co-hosts. They act under these terms through you.
- A celebration is created for you by us after you request it. The plan, the storage date and any limits are set at that time.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm you have the right to collect photos and videos at your celebration and to share them with your guests.
- You tell your guests that photos are being collected and shared through the service (the table cards and the join screen help with this).
- You moderate what appears in the album and remove anything a guest or a person in a photo objects to.
- You do not use the service for anything unlawful, and you do not allow content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes someone’s rights.
- You keep your event link and PIN to the people you want in the album.
Content
- Photos and videos belong to the people who made them; guests keep their rights, and you keep yours.
- You and your guests allow us to store, process and display the content only as needed to run the service according to your settings (for example, making smaller copies for the album and the zip for download).
- We may remove content that is unlawful or that violates these terms, and we may close a celebration used for abuse.
Storage period and deletion
- Everything is kept until the storage date of your celebration. We remind you before it arrives so you can download the originals.
- After the storage date, all photos and videos are deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Deleted moments can be restored for 7 days; after that they are gone.
Plans and payment
Plans differ in the number of events, storage period and features, as described on the home page. Prices and payment terms: [to be completed]. A plan is for one celebration.
Availability and liability
- We do our best to keep the service available during your celebration, but we cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted. Guests’ phones keep their photos; please also keep your own copies of anything important, and download the originals before the storage date.
- To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the plan. We are not liable for content uploaded by guests.
Ending the service
- You can ask us at any time to delete your celebration and everything in it.
- We may suspend or close a celebration that is used in breach of these terms, after telling you unless the matter is urgent.
